ISA GENZKEN

イザ・ゲンツケン

1948 年、ドイツ、Bad Oldesloe に生まれ。ベルリン在住。1970 年代、ヨーゼフ・ボイス、ベルント&ヒラ・ベッヒャー、ベンジャミン・ブクロー、そしてゲルハルト・リヒターらが教鞭を執るドュッセルドルフ芸術アカデミーで学ぶ。1976 年、コンラッドフィッシャー・ギャラリー(デュッセルドルフ)でデビューし、その後、世界各地で作品を発表。1982 年「ドクメンタ7」に招待され、2002 年にも再度参加。1997 年と2007 年には、ドイツのミュンスターで10 年に一度開催される彫刻フェスティバル「ミュンスター彫刻プロジェクト」に招聘され、また一昨年の「第52 回、ベネチア・ビエンナーレ」のドイツ館の代表も務める。
